First off, I'd like to congratulate Brett Favre on a fantastic 18 year career in the NFL. Farve and his right arm have accomplished a lot in those 18 years and in the end, it was those 18 years that finally ended his career…with a little help. Commence Venting
I think we all knew this day was coming.
As soon as those two so-called teammates decided to throw Brett under the bus, I had the feeling that he would walk away. I mean, the guy has been around since 1991 and some RB and Safety that haven’t done anything are telling Favre how he needs to conduct himself in the league? Please. I lost a lot of respect for Thomas Jones and Kerry Rhodes when they decided that they needed to cry to the media that they lost their leadership/all the attention when Favre came to New York.
Venting Complete.
