2. TCU, Boise St., or Utah win a National Title.
3. Monte Kiffin gives college defensive coordinators the recipe for stopping Florida’s offense. Although Tennessee does not have the horses to win the game, his strategies are mimicked and Florida losses down the stretch because of it.
4. Duke goes bowling.
5. Michigan Coach Rich Rodriguez gets a contract extension as a show of support after taking the Wolverines to a bowl game….even if it is a very small one.
6. USC does not lose a game in Pac 10 play.
7. Traditional Basketball power Connecticut wins it’s first Big East title.
8. Baylor wins two of the three final games of the season against Texas, Texas Tech, or Texas A&M. This starts what many will consider a dynasty in the making.
9. Notre Dame has a second losing season in three years
10. Bobby Bowden and/or Joe Paterno retire at the end of the season.
